- “the kids are all right” gets some form of recognition
the rest of the i’m still up in the air about. but i feel like those are some of the more predictable ones..

She carried the film. The film is ABOUT her character. She narrates the thing.
That’s not a SUPPORTING role, Academy, you misogynistic nitwits. Cogburn and LaBeouf are tangential to MATTIE’S story of losing her father and seeking revenge and learning what it’s liketo be a woman on her own in the Wild West. Who do we spend the most camera time with? Her. Whose story is it? Hers. Who are we concerned about at the end? HER.
And you call that a SUPPORTING role?
AMEN.

i honestly HONESTLY can’t think of a better supporting actor role. definitely one of the overall best acts of the year, maybe even more. ah i just want to see the fighter again… mark wahlberg anyone?
